I-70 reopens at Eisenhower Tunnel due to accidents

DENVER - Traffic on westbound Interstate 70 reopened at the Eisenhower Tunnel after it was blocked by several accidents Sunday night..

The Colorado Dept. of Transportation said at the time to expect delays because the accidents were blocking traffic.

Road conditions at the tunnel were snow, icy and snowpacked.

The road closure began at 9:20 p.m. and the traffic began moving again just before 11 p.m.
