A tracking device is being credited with leading the Weld County Sheriff’s Office to a number of stolen vehicles.

The GPS device was attached to a vehicle stolen Monday morning from a jobsite near Weld County roads 34 and 19, east of Lucerne.

The device led investigators to a property in the 8000 block of Verbena Street in Commerce City, according to the sheriff's office press release.

A search uncovered several stolen vehicles and trailers, including two Bobcat Utility Vehicles.

The sheriff's office is now looking for those responsible for the thefts.
