COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - A two-year-old was treated and released from the hospital after falling from a third-story window.
Police said the boy fell from an open window at the Hill Park Apartments in the 300 block of North Murray Boulevard in Colorado Springs Tuesday afternoon.
The Fire Department said the boy fell into a graveled area, but when they arrived the toddler was conscious and breathing.
The toddler was taken to the hospital, treated for minor injuries and released, police said.
"The child’s mother was home at the time, and was not able to get to the child before he fell out of the open window," Colorado Springs police said on its website. "The investigation is continuing."
