IDAHO FALLS, Idaho - A Colorado woman wanted in Idaho for nearly two decades has turned herself in and has been sentenced to one year of unsupervised probation for misdemeanor battery.

The Post Register reports that 40-year-old Lisa Marie Arthur had been living in Thornton, Colo., since the Idaho arrest warrant was issued in 1995 when she failed to appear in court.

She faced a charge of lewd conduct with a minor younger than 16.

Bonneville County Chief Deputy Prosecutor Daniel Clark says the alleged victim, now 33, denied a relationship happened. That led to the charge being amended to misdemeanor battery.

Clark says Arthur needed to clear up the outstanding warrant so she could qualify for professional licensing in her nursing career.
