DENVER – A pair of suspects escaped with several firearms after breaking into a gun store on West Colfax Avenue early Friday.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said it received an alert about an alarm at Machine Gun Tours, 12550 W. Colfax Ave. at about 2:30 a.m.
Deputies said two men broke into the store and stole guns. They may have fled the scene in a dark-colored Jeep Liberty.
This is the second gun store robbery in the Denver area in the past three days. On Wednesday, thieves drove an SUV into the Triple J Armory in Littleton and stole numerous firearms.
