Teen in handcuffs runs from police in Denver Tuesday morning

DENVER - Denver police are searching for a teen suspect who ran away from officers Tuesday morning.

Officers were picking up the 16-year-old boy on a failure to appear warrant, according to Denver police.

The teen was handcuffed but his brother interfered with the arrest, allowing the suspect to escape, police said.

The suspect's brother was arrested.

The 16 year old was last seen near W. 14th Ave. and Osceola St.  He was wearing tan pants and a black shirt, police said.
