SUMMIT COUNTY, Colo. - A teenager was airlifted to a hospital after being found walking down a road in Summit County with severe cuts, according to Summit County undersheriff Derek Woodman.
Woodman said a deputy was driving on Swan Mountain Road between Frisco and Keystone around 3 a.m. Tuesday when he saw the injured man.
The victim had severe lacerations to his head and was airlifted to St. Anthony's Hospital in Lakewood in serious condition.
"It's very difficult to say exactly what the weapon was," Woodman said. Though he believes it was likely a large knife of some sort.
Woodman said investigators were going to Lakewood to interview the victim and try to get more information on what happened and the suspect or suspects who did this.
