WESTMINSTER, Colo. - Westminster Police are investing a bank robbery that happened at a TCF bank on Sunday.
Police said at about 10:30 a.m. a man walked up to a teller at the bank at 11968 Vrain St., and demanded money, using a note.
No weapons were displayed during the robbery and no one was injured.
The man left the bank on foot and was last seen running in a northeast direction. It is unknown if he continued on foot or left in a vehicle.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5-feet 10-inches to 6-feet tall, with stocky build.
He was black shoes or boots, black pants, and a dark colored hoodie sweatshirt with the words “Dallas Texas” in white letters across the front.
Westminster Police responded with patrol, detectives and a K9 unit. The Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force also responded. This is a multijurisdictional task force led by the FBI.
