FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The Poudre Fire Authority is investigating what it's calling a suspicious fire on Monday morning.

Fire swept through the Valero gas station on West Elizabeth Street near City Park Avenue at 5:20 a.m.

Firefighters were able to contain the damage to one corner of the business, but there was some smoke damage that spread throughout the building, according to Patrick Love with the Poudre Fire Authority.

Love said his agency is conducting a joint investigation into the fire with the Fort Collins Police Department.

No one was hurt in the fire.
