Suspected purse snatcher sought by Denver Police

The Denver Police Department is looking for the man suspected in a recent purse snatching.

On Friday, the man was shown on surveillance video watching a woman receive money from a Western Union station located inside the King Soopers store on Downing Street near 9th Avenue.

Police said he waited for the victim to leave the store and snatched the woman's purse as she walked to her car. The suspect was chased by several witnesses but got away.
