Suspect arrested in road-rage hit and run in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - A 25-year-old man suspected in a hit-and-run crash in Colorado Springs that police say stemmed from road rage has been arrested.

The Gazette reports Nathaniel Lee Mancha was arrested Friday on a charge of attempted murder for the March 1 crash that critically injured 30-year-old Anthony Jafari.

Police also arrested 23-year-old Carlton Moan and 24-year-old Misael Donaldson for allegedly helping Mancha hide from police.

Jafari's family had offered a $10,000 reward for information about the hit-and-run, but it's unclear if that was a factor in Mancha's arrest.

Mancha has no prior criminal history in Colorado. But 7NEWS found in Texas he's had convictions for assault with a deadly weapon, resisting arrest and minor marijuana possession, according to public records.
