CLIFTON, Colo. - When a suicidal Clifton man shot himself in the chest, the bullet went through his back and struck a woman, Mesa County sheriff’s deputies said Friday.
Michael Sexton allegedly shot himself in an attempt to commit suicide, but the bullet went through his body and struck Crystal Mannon, a woman who was also in the home.
According to a police report, the bullet wounded Sexton in the lung. The conditions of the two people and the nature of their relationship were not available.
No charges have been filed in the case.
