DENVER – Monday’s snowstorm didn’t have much of an effect on metro roads, but it could be a different story Tuesday.
Temperatures will drop into the 20s overnight, which means any leftover snow or water on the roads will turn to ice, especially on bridges and overpasses.

If you haven’t already done so, now is a good time to winterize your home. That means protecting pipes and sprinklers from freezing and taking steps to improve the energy efficiency of your home, like replacing insulation or resealing leaky windows.

After Tuesday morning, things should quickly warm back up with a high temperature around 50 degrees. Then we’ll see highs in the 60s and 70s by the end of the week.
