AURORA, Colo. - Students at three Aurora schools will have a longer summer break this year.
Because of school construction plans, classes will end Monday, April 29 at Clyde Miller P-8, Tollgate Elementary School of Expeditionary Learning and Yale Elementary School.
To ensure that students didn't miss any necessary instructional time required by the Colorado Department of Education, additional class time was added each day during the school year, according to Aurora Public Schools spokeswoman Paula Hans.
Students enrolled in the Fifth Block of Instruction will attend classes at relocation sites:
- Clyde Miller P-8, relocated to Laredo Elementary
- Tollgate Elementary, relocated to Arkansas Elementary
- Yale Elementary, relocated to Dartmouth Elementary
