Student, staff tickets available for Claire Davis Celebration of Life to be held at National Western

DENVER - Tickets to the celebration of Claire Davis' life are now available for students and staff at Arapahoe High School.

Claire’s family wanted Arapahoe High School staff, students and family members to receive priority in obtaining tickets, so those tickets were made available Thursday: Students and staff will need to use their Google login to access the ticket reservation page.

Tickets will not be available to the public until Friday at 10 a.m.

The celebration of life service will be held at the National Western Stock Show because of the large number of expected attendees and because Claire competed in a horse event there earlier this year and was scheduled to compete again next month.

There will be no charge for attending, but all attendees will be required to have a ticket issued through Arapahoe High School or or the National Western Box Office.

Counseling is available Thursday and Friday and again 12/30, 12/31, 1/2 and 1/3 at Shepherd of the Hills Church from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. There is also a 24-hour crisis line at 303-730-3303.

Mental health counselors will also be available at Arapahoe High School when students return on January 7.

"We will continue to have mental health support for as long as is needed," Principal Natalie Pramenko said.

The stock show will rename an event the "Claire Davis Memorial Gambler's Choice Horse Show" for 2014 and plans to observe a moment of silence prior to all ticketed horse shows.

The stock show runs from Jan. 11-26.
