DENVER - More than a hundred Texas Longhorn cattle will be herded through the streets of downtown Denver Thursday.

The National Western Stock Show Kick-Off Parade starts at Union Station and runs down 17th Street, starting at noon.

Also happening today is the annual National Western BBQ Lunch. It begins at 11:30 a.m. in the atrium at the Wells Fargo Building. Visitors can listen to Western music and catch up on the latest trends at a Western Fashion Show. The BBQ is open to the public and benefits the 4-H International Youth Group. Meal tickets are $9.

The 107th Annual Stock Show is scheduled to run January 12-27 in Denver.
