DENVER - Some bright green water that was spotted flowing through Cherry Creek Friday turned heads near downtown Denver.
7NEWS received several photos from viewer Dave Masters who said the water resembled "The Chicago River on St Patrick's Day."
Nancy Kuhn of Denver Public Works said the green water was caused by a dye used by the agency to verify connections in the storm sewer system. She said the dye is harmless and non-hazardous.
According to Kuhn, the dye has already dissipated.
