DENVER - Travelers at Denver International Airport are seeing some cancellations and delays.

A check of the FlyDenver.com website at 11 a.m. found most of the flight cancellations were for flights arriving in Denver from cities experiencing heavy snow, mainly Amarillo and Kansas City.

Very few outbound flights have been cancelled.

Airport officials said most flights are going through deicing before take-off, meaning passengers will be on their flights a little longer than normal. The FAA is reporting delays of up to 30 minutes.

DIA is expecting intermittent snow showers throughout the day on Tuesday. Operations should be running normally, according to spokeswoman Laura Coale.
