CLEAR CREEK COUNTY, Colo. - A snow slide on Friday closed Loveland Pass for more than three hours.
The Colorado Department of Transportation said U.S. 6 over Loveland Pass was closed in both directions at 6:04 a.m. It reopened at 9:24 a.m.
At 5 a.m., Loveland Ski Area, at the base of the pass, reported 5.5 inches of snow had fallen in the past 24 hours. Cameras in the area showed snow blowing sideways at 6:15 a.m.
