Smash and grab at Boulder Apple store; police look for suspect

BOULDER, Colo. - Boulder police are looking for a hooded suspect who took $63,000 worth of Apple laptops, iPads and iPhones during an early-morning smash-and-grab.

Police said an alarm was set off at 2:16 a.m. Saturday at the Apple store at 1755 29th St. Surveillance video shows what police believe to be a male suspect, wearing a black hoodie, white gloves and black baseball cap stealing items from display tables inside the Apple store.

The door that was broken by three large rocks is valued at $100,000, police said.
