Westbound 6th Avenue reopens at Kipling, slick conditions reported on west side of metro area

Westbound 6th Avenue has reopened at Kipling after a rollover crash on the highway. The closure lasted about 14 minutes.

Slick conditions were blamed for that crash and a rollover on C-470 near Broadway during the Monday morning commute.

"Temperatures are cold -- at or below freezing," said 7NEWS forecast Dayle Cedars at 5 a.m. on Monday.

A 7NEWS photographer also reported dense fog in Commerce City, Broomfield and other north metro area cities. A dense fog advisory was issued from Boulder to Weld County, according to Cedars.
