A skier died after crashing into a tree at Keystone Resort Saturday afternoon.
The 46-year-old man was wearing a helmet, according to the coroner's office. The cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma to his chest.
The man was skiing between the Porcupine and Bighorn intermediate trails.
Keystone Ski Patrol performed advanced life support and the patient was transported to the Keystone Medical Center, the coroner's office said.
Advanced life support was continued but doctors couldn't save the man.
