GREELEY - A man who admitted his role in a heroin ring that stretched from Denver to southern Weld County was sentenced to six years in prison Tuesday.

Weld County District Attorney spokesman Heath Montgomery said Francisco Perez-Martinez, 26, was one of four people arrested in September 2011 after a two-month undercover investigation. The investigation also resulted in the seizure of about $26,000 worth of heroin.

Perez-Martinez pleaded guilty to one count of distribution of a Schedule I controlled substance.
