DENVER – A shooting in central Denver is now being investigated as a homicide, the Denver Police Department said Wednesday night.
The shooting was reported in the rea of W. 6th Avenue and North Lipan Street at 8:30 p.m.
Police said one victim had been taken to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries and that no suspect information was available.
About an hour-and-a-half later, officers said the shooting was being investigated as a homicide.
No other information was released.
The investigation into what led to the shooting is still on-going.
