ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. – The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office is alerting residents that a repeated sex offender is living in the area for the next few weeks.

Todd G. Combs, 46, will be living at 9650 E. Geddes Avenue until mid-October, when he is set to return to Michigan, the sheriff’s office says. It is required to alert residents to convicted sex offenders living in their area.

Combs pleaded guilty in Michigan in October 2013 to third-degree attempted criminal sexual conduct and assault with intent to commit second-degree criminal sexual conduct by a habitual offender. The charge was his fourth offense, according to the sheriff’s office, who says Combs “presents a high potential for re-offending.”

His victim was a 13-year-old girl and knew Combs, who was sentenced to one year in jail and 60 months of probation to follow for the crime.

As part of the conditions of registering as a sex offender, Combs can’t be within 1,000 feet of a school or within 500 feet of a place where people under age 17 generally can be found.

The sheriff’s office warns that anyone who harasses Combs will face criminal prosecution.
