DENVER -- For most kids, summer is a time of fun. But for some, summer means they lose access to free meals at school.

Denver7 checked and found out that dozens of churches, schools and community groups across the state are offering free breakfast and lunch this summer to kids under 18.

Parents don’t have to fill out any paperwork and all kids are welcome. Click here to find a food program near you.

Some locations see 250 to 300 kids each day.
