DENVER -- A three-car crash is being investigated as a hit and run after police say a victim died in the aftermath.
Denver Police rushed to Southbound Colorado at I-70 just after 7:30 p.m., temporarily closing the scene down with the help of the Colorado Department of Transportation.
Officers set up a scene to investigate as first responders rushed to the scene.
It's not yet clear if any other people were injured, but police did confirm one person perished in the crash.
Police have yet to release further details as the investigation is underway.
