Senior citizen found safe: Gilberto Hurtado went missing from Loveland

LOVELAND, Colo. - An Alzheimers and Sundowners patient who disappeared from Loveland Thursday afternoon was found safe and returned to his family, the Sheriff's Office reports.

Gilberto Hurtado, 77, was last seen in the back yard of a home in the 5800 block of Mossy Cup Court around 2 p.m. He was wearing a navy blue, fur lined sweatshirt with a zipper in the front. Underneath he wore a blue shirt, black jeans and dark brown shoes. He also had a cut over his eye from a recent fall.

The Sheriff's Office asked for help finding him around 3:50 p.m., but announced he had been found about three hours later.

He "was found by citizens in the 4500 block of W. Eisenhower Blvd in Loveland, CO.  He was found to be in good spirits and was uninjured," the Sheriff's Office wrote.
