LITTLETON, Colo. – A Littleton apartment building had to be evacuated late Thursday after a semi-truck hauling cars crashed into the building and caught fire.
The crash occurred in the 800 block of West Belleview Avenue around 11:30 p.m.
Investigators said the driver lost control of the semi, went off the road and crashed into a tree before hitting the apartment building.
The building sustained minor damage and there were no reports of injuries.
Officials said the truck’s driver remained on the scene. It wasn’t immediately clear what led to the crash.
