All but one lane of eastbound Interstate 70 was closed for 6 hours at 32nd Avenue because of a truck fire Thursday afternoon and evening.
The eastbound lanes were fully reopened at 9:30 p.m.
CDOT reported the closure began at 3:04 p.m. and there is currently no estimated time of more lanes reopening.
A photograph from a 7NEWS viewer showed flames leaping out from the gap between the cab and the trailer.
Colorado State Patrol spokeswoman Heather Cobler says the fire was reported at 2:30 p.m. The flames were extinguished and a front-end loader equipment was used to go through the debris.
The truck was hauling groceries, Cobler said.
