BOULDER, Colo. - CU Police said a body found Saturday on the University of Colorado at Boulder campus was a transient.
It's the second time in two days that a body has been found in Boulder. On Friday evening, the body of a woman was found in a pedestrian underpass along Boulder Creek, under Broadway.
Emergency crews responded to the latest report at 8:40 p.m. Saturday at the Bruce Curtis Building near Broadway and College Avenue. That's a half-mile and 24 hours from the first discovery -- almost to the minute.
Sunday afternoon, the man was identified as a 51-year-old transient. His name was withheld until his family could be notified.
"The investigation is in its initial stages and there does not appear to be an ongoing threat to the community at this time," read a statement from CU Police.
The woman's body has not been identified.
