DENVER - Runners of all ages hit the streets for the Cherry Creek Sneak Sunday morning in Denver. Dayle Cedars emceed the event and Tyler Lopez ran with his family.
Parents, kids, casual and elite runners can participate in a variety of races, including a 10-mile, 5-mile, 3.1-mile (5K), and the 7Healthy Kids Project 1.5-mile Sneak Sprint course at the 2014 Cherry Creek Sneak.
There’s also a 1/2 mile Fun Run for kids ages 8 and under and a Diaper Dash for little ones.
When you run/walk the Cherry Creek Sneak, your participation benefits the Food Bank of the Rockies. Food Bank of the Rockies provides food and supplies to more than 1,000 hunger-relief programs in Northern Colorado, Metro Denver, and the entire state of Wyoming.
After the event, all participants enjoy the festivities at the post race block party. Shop vendors’ booths, enjoy a free Summer Shandy at the Leinenkugel beer garden or play in the Kids’ Fun Zone.
Weather permitting, be sure to join us at the 7NEWS Photo booth to have your picture taken with SuperScreen 7! Be #SuperScreened, tell all your friends about it and receive a free Storm Shield T-Shirt! (While supplies last.)
With more than 30 years of success, the Cherry Creek Sneak makes sure exercising has never been more fun.
