Rockslide cleared from Highway 24 near Minturn

MINTURN, Colo. - U.S. Highway 24 between Leadville and Minturn has been reopened after workers cleared a rockslide.

More than 150 tons of rock fell onto the roadway early Tuesday, damaging the highway and a car caught in the slide.

According to the Vail Daily, the 20-year-old driver suffered minor injuries. The unidentified woman was treated and released at Vail Valley Medical Center.
