DENVER – Good morning, everyone! Here’s what you need to know today on Friday, September 29.

1. Rockies could clinch playoff berth 
The Rockies face the Dodgers starting Friday for a three-game series. With a win and a Milwaukee loss, they clinch the second NL Wild Card spot. 

2. Denver Mayor to discuss Denver's new housing plan
Denver Mayor Michael Hancock will discuss Denver's new five-year housing policy, strategy and investment plan.

3. Two Colorado-based companies sending aid to Puerto Rico
Denver-based Frontier Airlines and Longmont-based Oskar Blues Brewery are producing and transporting more than 20,000 cans of water to be flown to San Juan Friday.

4. Drier weather moving in for the weekend
The upper air disturbance will move away from Colorado after Friday, leaving clearing skies and warmer temperatures for the weekend.  

5. Elitch Gardens' Fright Fest returns for another season of scares
Denver’s largest Halloween event is celebrating its 20th season of screams this Friday at Elitch Gardens starting at noon. Fright Fest will run every weekend until October 29.
