GOLDEN, Colo. -- A rock climber in Clear Creek Canyon suffered serious injuries after falling 80 feet Friday morning.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said the climber, a man in his late 20s, was not wearing any gear when he fell. A passerby called 911.
Rescue crews had to hike into the area where the man was climbing a sheer rock formation in the canyon just west of the tunnel.
