DENVER - A single robbery suspect was photographed at three banks Wednesday and one other earlier this month. The FBI says he robbed three of those banks.
The suspect allegedly robbed Chase Bank at 1627 South Havana Street in Aurora, was seen acting suspiciously at First Bank at 8901 East Hampden Avenue in Denver and then allegedly robbed Key Bank at 5250 on Leetsdale Drive in Denver. According to the FBI, all three took place between 9:08 a.m. and 10:08 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Earlier this month, on July 9, the FBI says the same suspect robbed Wells Fargo Bank at 1001 South Monaco Street in Denver.
In all of the robberies, the suspect used demand notes to get the money and then walked out of the bank.
Snapshots from surveillance footage released by the FBI show the suspect having short black hair and wearing sunglasses. He is Hispanic and may be in his mid-twenties, with a goatee, about 5’7 to 5’10, with a tattoo of a star by his right eye.
The snapshots of the surveillance footage from the series of robberies on Wednesday show the suspect wearing a flannel shirt.
Anyone who may have information about the series of robberies is asked to call the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force at 303-629-7171.
