AURORA, Colo - Aurora Police and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force are looking for a man who held up a bank Wednesday afternoon.
According to police, a man walked into the Bank of the West at 13781 East Yale Avenue, near Yale and Interstate 225, and gave a note to a teller that demanded money.
Police said the same man is also a suspect in two other bank robberies that occurred in Aurora in June and July.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, 5-feet 6-inches to 5-feet 8-inches tall, with a medium build. He has worn a baseball cap and sunglasses in all three robberies.
Anyone with information about this case or the identity of the suspect is asked to call Agent Mike Thrapp with the FBI Safe Street Task Force at 303-313-6810 or Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP. Tipsters can remain anonymous and are eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
