DENVER - President Barack Obama is in the Denver area Wednesday morning and Denver Police say there will be closures and traffic delays.
Drivers may experience delays along the Interstate 70 corridor and the lower Downtown Denver area, the Denver Police Department said.
On Wednesday, from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., road closures will be in effect near Cheesman Park. Bicycle and running paths at Cheesman Park will also be closed.
"Drivers should expect delays when traveling near Cheesman Park during the President’s arrival and departure," the DPD said.
Mid-day until early afternoon, motorists in the downtown Denver area can also expect delays and road closures.
During the late afternoon on Wednesday, motorists can expect delays along the I-70 corridor.
