AURORA, Colo. - The founder of a non-profit organization for at-risk kids is scheduled to appear in court Friday morning. Richard Koca is charged with sexually assaulting a child.

Koca, 69, is the founder of StandUp for Kids, a national group for at-risk and homeless children. He was arrested Saturday in Aurora on child sexual assault charges.

He faces seven felony counts of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust involving a pattern of abuse, according to an Arapahoe County Court case summary. The court record indicates the alleged abuse began in August 2009 and continued into 2012.

Investigators are continuing to work on the case because they said they’re concerned about the possibility of additional vicitms.

Koca is being held on $250,000 bond.
