$10K reward offered to help catch suspect in downtown Denver shooting of Buckley AFB Airman

Sketch released of shooting suspect

DENVER - A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered to help nab the person who shot a Buckley Air Force Base Airman in downtown Denver in 2013.

Airman 1st Class Shaquille Hargrove, 19, a 2nd Space Warning Squadron satellite systems operator, was shot at the intersection of 15th and Market streets at around 2 a.m. on July 13.

A second airman was wounded in the incident, according to Buckley officials.

Witnesses cooperating with investigators helped provide a sketch of the suspect, who was described as a black man in his 20s with acne, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 160-180 pounds.
