DENVER - A major recall for ready-to-eat items now includes products sold under the Safeway, Walmart, King Soopers and Krogers' labels.
Reser’s Fine Foods initially recalled items produced from Sept. 5 to Oct. 9. Now the company is expanding the recall to all products produced between Oct. 10 and Oct. 25, 2013.
The recall includes dozens of chicken salads, potato salads, macaroni salads, ham salads, cucumber salads, slaws and BBQ beans sold under the brand names of Kroger, King Soopers, Safeway, Walmart, 7-11, Miller's, Cobblestreet Market, Dillons, Chef Solutions, Jewel, Mrs. Giles, Orval Kent, West Creek, Block & Barrel, Mrs. Weaver, Resers, Stonemill, Everyday Essentials, SYSCO, US Foodservice, SAV-ALOT, Chef's Choice, Yum, My Premier and Yoder.
The products were distributed to retailers and distributors nationwide.
