Request for help in stabbing murder case of Rae Lynn Gonzales and grandson Fabian Gonzales renewed

ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. - Investigators are renewing their plea for help in solving the stabbing murders of a 50-year-old woman and her young grandson in Adams County.

Rae Lynn Gonzales and 18-month-old Fabian Gonzales were found dead in their apartment at 2812 W. 66th Place on Jan. 3. They were killed between 4:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. that day.

"I had just spoken to her the day before," said neighbor Michael Beck after the deaths were first discovered. "She came by with two dogs. She said she walked them every day, and she had her grandson with her in a stroller."

The case is being investigated as a homicide, and Sgt. Paul Gregory with the Adams County Sheriff's Office has issued a new request for help from the community.
