White House has not commented on issue

DENVER - Colorado's Lieutenant Governor may be on the short list for President Barack Obama's next Secretary of Labor.
Reuters is reporting that Joe Garcia is Obama's top pick for Secretary of Labor, replacing Hilda Solis.
Colorado governor John Hickenlooper picked Joe Garcia as his running mate in 2010.
Since then, Garcia has held two jobs -- Lieutenant Governor and Executive Director for the Department of Higher Education in Colorado.
While the White House and Garcia have not commented on the issue, the Governor was happy to talk about Garcia.
“Joe Garcia is one of the most extraordinary individuals I’ve worked with," said Hickenlooper in a statement. "Everything he does he excels at, and that record has led him from humble beginnings to Harvard Law School and the Office of Lieutenant Governor. We would hate to lose him, but our loss without question would be the nation’s gain.”
Obama has faced criticism for his lack of diversity in nominating cabinet positions.
