Denver native and “Silicon Valley” actor T.J. Miller was arrested Friday morning in Hollywood Hills on suspicion of battery charges after he apparently attacked a driver for a car service.
The Los Angeles Times first reported Miller’s arrest, which happened around 1 a.m. PT. An LAPD spokesman told The Times the driver requested an officer to arrest Miller, and said the incident didn’t happen in front of officers.
Miller was on Conan O’Brien’s show Thursday to promote his new movie, “Office Christmas Party,” which was released Friday. He is also slated to host the Critics’ Choice Awards Sunday.

The Times reports Miller was cited for the misdemeanor charge and released.
TMZ reported that Miller was picked up by an Uber driver from GQ’s Man of the Year party. The driver claimed the conversation between the two turned political, and Miller allegedly slapped him in the head.
Miller was born in Denver before moving to Washington D.C. and has made many TV and movie appearances over the past decade before landing his role as Erlich Bachman in the HBO series.
