GARFIELD COUNTY, Colo - The Red Canyon Fire burned about 150 acres between Glenwood Springs and Carbondale on Monday, authorities say.
The fire broke out about 1 p.m. just off County Road 115 about 2.5 miles from Highway 82, the Garfield County Sheriff's Office said. A single-engine air tanker was called in to fight the fire.
Residents of the Crystal Light neighborhood were warned to be prepared in case they need to evacuate, sheriff's officials said.
