PUEBLO, Colo. - A boy has been suspended from a Pueblo-area elementary school after he was accused of compiling a list of more than 10 students he wanted to hurt or kill.
The Pueblo Chieftain reported that administrators don't believe anyone at Sierra Vista Elementary School was in immediate danger.
The boy was suspended Tuesday for five days. Greg Keasling, student services director for the Pueblo County School District, says he'll decide next week whether to recommend that the school board expel him.
Keasling says he's still investigating the validity of the accusations. The sheriff's department is also investigating.
Keasling says the list included names of boys and girls and described how they would be harmed. Parents whose children were on the list have been notified.
About 500 students attend Sierra Vista.
