Prosecutors: Man who groped flight attendant gets probation, alcohol counseling

DENVER - A man accused of groping a flight attendant on a flight from Las Vegas to Denver will not go to jail.

Evan Nathaniel Castle, 24, of Thornton, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault on Monday.

Prosecutors said Castle was drinking on a Spirit Airline flight in April when he became loud and started using profane language.

When a flight attendants told Castle to stop using vulgar language and to quiet down, he refused.

He then deliberately groped another flight attendant and said, "Oh sexy," according to prosecutors.

The judge ordered Castle to serve two years on probation and attend alcohol counseling.
