ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. - Prosecutors didn't have a very hard time making their case against a 27-year-old man charged in a string of burglaries in Colorado. A GPS monitor tied him to all 15 homes he pillaged.
The Denver Post reports a jury convicted Brandon Campbell last week Friday of 34 counts of burglary and theft for home invasions in Arapahoe County, Greenwood Village, Centennial and Cherry Hills Village in 2012. He was accused of taking more than $120,000 worth of cash, electronics and jewelry.
Campbell, who was previously convicted of theft and trespass, was required to wear a GPS ankle bracelet that sent a signal about his whereabouts every five minutes.
