BOULDER, Colo. - Power has been restored to thousands of people in the Boulder area.
More than 24,000 customers lost power because of a disturbance in the transmission system, Xcel Energy told 7NEWS.
The outage started at 8:10 a.m.
Xcel Energy spokesman Gabriel Romero told 7NEWS that power was fully restored by 11 a.m.
Romero said Xcel is still trying to determine the exact cause of that disturbance.
The outage affected Boulder, Jamestown, Longmont and Niwot.
