LAKEWOOD, Colo. - Power has been restored to more than 5,000 people after someone hit a power pole in Lakewood.
The crash happened on Sheridan Boulevard and Louisiana Avenue at 4:04 a.m.
A police dispatcher told 7NEWS a single car hit a power pole, knocking power lines down.
No one was hurt, but Xcel Energy had to be called out to make repairs.
Most homes in the area had power restored between 5:45 a.m. and 6:15 a.m.
Repairs to the power pole may take several hours, Xcel Energy spokesman Gabriel Romero said.
